New in the shop today... my first MaidenBloom baby quilt.
It is pieced with 100% cotton fabrics and has Warm & Natural cotton batting.
I hand-quilted this with 100% cotton quilting thread.
In the border I decided to quilt branches with leaves and quilted each square just along the seams. The binding is really neat....it has the tiniest sparkle...it is 100% cotton just blinged out!
The backing is the sweetest tiny floral print that I've had in my stash for probably 20 years now, just waiting for the perfect project to use it in. The little flowers are pink with a fresh green leaf.
I think the hand quilting shows up so well on the back of the quilt too.
A new fairy doll will be added in the shop later today too.
She has lovely blonde locks with highlights of pink and peach.
She comes with a lovely day dress that ties in back and a lace collar. Of course her fairy wings are delightful, with layers of felt and tulle, sparkling with crystal swarovski beads, hand sewn on.
Her boots will be listed in the shop accessories today too!
More new accessories will be added through the next few days, as I can get the photos and listings done. These hand-embroidered fairy woodland boots are an extra special addition to your doll.
This pair is evergreen felt ... I used variegated embroidery thread to capture the magic of woodland pine boughs along the sides.
