Making this Little Miss Sawtooth quilt is addicting!
I've made three now and am tempted to start a fourth. I love this pattern by Melanie @southerncharmquilts. It's a great pattern for every level of quilter.
I also loved using low volume fabrics for the background and using scrappy fabrics from my stash.
For my LMS, I used a mixture of fabrics that I talk more about on @andes_heirlooms
I have four quilts to hand-quilt now. The first I'm almost through with is my husbands T-shirt quilt (that's a whole other post). The second, my Bunny Hill applique quilt; third, my Little Miss Sawtooth; and fourth, the LMS I made for Mom.
Here are my flying geese units used for all the star blocks.
This method of Melanie's is a real time saver.
I pieced several pieces of fabric together for my backing. This picture below was taken while I was basting it. I really would love to do a combination of hand quilting and machine quilting.
I have at least 5 new quilts to start this year and at least two of those will be Melanie's pattern,
'Bad Girl Quilt' ... I cannot wait to get started on those. Check out all her awesome patterns.
happy quilting
